失われた家族

屋敷を探索していくうちに昔、ここに昔ジェームズ一家がいたことが序々に判明していく、親族の意向により昔のまま状態がもたれているらしい William G James　智恵　エリック　レイチェル西側のみ部屋にはいることが出来る遭遇そうこうしているうちに何か不審なことにきづく（レイチェル登場）最初は話し掛けることなく気配だけ感じるが最後にプレイヤーと直接会うレイチェルと話をくりかえしていくうちに彼女は自分が幽霊だときづいていない？反対にわたし達を幽霊のような存在として怯えているようだ回想カギをみつけて各家族のプライベートルームに入ることができるようになるそして家族一人一人の背景があきらかになっていく（ただし智恵の部屋を除く）それぞれの記憶に差があるなぜだ？

智恵の部屋

カギをレイチェルから聞き出して智恵の部屋に大量のウィルアムからの手紙、日記その一通がどういうわけかわたしの父のところに迷い込んだのだろう彼女に日記により当時起きたことが序々に判明していくしかし肝心の日記の最後は記されていない（幸せから序々に混乱していく様の内容）ここで地下室の存在が判明する。

地下室古いものが沢山あるひどく暗い壁の一部が塗り替えられているこの秘密の部屋が犯行現場確認後レイチェルを通して、智恵にこのことを伝える不審に思いつつ彼女はレイチェルを安心させるために地下室を確認しにいくしかし事実はレイチェルの言うとおり隠し部屋があった。智恵が中を覗いたその瞬間すべてのことを思い出す。自分が死んだことや子供達と心中したことを自分を責める智恵であったがここでパパ登場子供だけを天国につれていく。「智恵、君はつれていけないんだ。でも心配するな、子供達を送っていったら必ず君のところに戻ってく来る」「どうしてママは一緒にいかないの？」と子供に聞かれるがパパはレイチェルを抱っこして困った顔で歩いていく智恵とジェームズは天国に行けず、子供だけ天国に行くこうしないとずっと子供達はthe limbo of infants(日本的にいうと賽の河原)から抜け出せないためだまた人を殺めている二人は当然、天国いけない至極当然であるただlimbo で4人で暮らす選択肢もあるのだが子供には罪がないため両親二人は子供達だけ天国にいける方法を選んだ
